Firefighters from several towns battle Goffstown fire

Goffstown Firefighters responded to 425 Terrell Hill Road at approximately 6pm on December 29th for a fire at a barn about 200 feet behind the home.  Mutual Aid was requested from Dunbarton, New Boston and Weare Departments. An ambulance was activated on scene for precautionary measures. Indications are that the fire may have been caused by a…

Owner vows to rebuild Jake’s Market in Georges Mills

When the Sunapee Police responded to a burglar alarm going off at Jake’s Market in Georges Mills, they discovered that the building was on fire. Sunapee Fire Chief Daniel Ruggles reports that the building quickly became engulfed in flames. Man indicted for 1973-74 Antrim sex crimes

Michael Narbis, 72, now of of Bradenton, Florida, has been indicted on 93 counts of deviate sexual relations, for the sexual assault of two young Antrim boys in 1973 and 1974. He had been arrested in September and extradited to New Hampshire to face the charges. The indictments include 31 felony charges and 62 class A misdemeanors. Narbis was charged under the…
