On April 30th the Weare Fire Department received a telephone report of smoke in the area of Deering Center Road. Three alarm fire renders Northfield home uninhabitable for the Weatherstone

Multiple fire crews worked together to combat a fire that heavily damaged a home and spread to a nearby wooded area in Northfield. Tilton-Northfield Fire was called to 70 Reservoir Road in Northfield for reports of a fire. Allen Langlois, 49, of Newport, pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography, in the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire in Concord.
