Fundraiser set for Newport fire victims

An online fundraiser has been started for a family who lost their home – and possibly two dogs – in a fire at 76 Coon Brook Road Thursday afternoon. The two-story log cabin was a total loss, Fire Lt. Goffstown woman guilty of forging checks over $1 million

A Goffstown woman who worked as a part-time bookkeeper for a Manchester auto repair shop has pleaded guilty to mail fraud, forging nearly 150 checks totaling more than $1 million over more than four years. Bradford Police warn of computer scam

Several residents of Bradford have called the Police Station to report some suspicious activity. Two residents said they received a message on their computer alerting them to system failure or the “blue screen of death.” A third was “cold called” at home and advised that she was having computer trouble. Two people were trying to go to www.google.com when the screen popped up. In all cases the residents are led to call a phone number where the person on the other end sounds very helpful.
