No injuries in Franklin two-family fire

A fire that started in a child’s bedroom on the second floor of a Franklin home early Friday morning was quickly extinguished by fire crews, officials said. No one was injured in the fire that occurred at 42 W. Bow St. just after 4 a.m., Deputy Chief David Hall said. On March 23rd New London Dispatch advised of a 911 hang up call from a Georges Mills residence. Sunapee Police responded to the address with Officers Welch and MacKenna of the New London Police Department. A physical altercation had taken place between two of the residents.
